Residential Steam Cleaning is the common name used for hot water extraction carpet cleaning. This method can be performed using a truckpowered unit or with portable extraction equipment. Truckpowered carpet cleaning uses exceptionally hot water and high powered vacuums to clean the carpet. The use of cleaning chemicals is kept to a minimum because of the high heat involved with this method. Carpets tend to dry quickly with this method because of the exceptional suction of the truckpowered machinery. Portable extraction units have come a long way. Most machines come equipped with two-three stage vacuum motors and high powered pumps capable of putting out 500PSI of hot water.
The shortcoming to this method is that it is much more labour intensive for the carpet cleaner himself. Regardless of which way your carpet is cleaned, Fresh and Clean uses the same safe, non-toxic cleaning solutions. These solutions are pre-sprayed onto the carpet and given a bit of dwell time. Then the carpet is “steam cleaned” using the food based rinse agent that is approved by the Carpet and Rug Institue’s Seal of Approval Program. You can trust Fresh and Clean to clean your carpet according to industry standards. If some spots or stains remain after the steaming we have a vast array of specialty spot and stain removers to remove these stubborn areas. We can also steam clean your couch.
